DEPOSITS: Puppies are “reserved” in the order of deposits received. If you place a first deposit on a black female you will have first pick of a black female in the litter. The same rule pertains to 2nd or 3rd deposits received. If there is not a black female born; or there is not a 2nd/3rd black female in the litter, you may have the option of switching the sex/color of any available puppy or your funds returned. A Non-Refundable (EXEPTIONS BELOW) deposit of $200.00 (Payable to: Ann Herbert) was received by breeder on ___/___/___. DEPOSIT REFUND EXCEPTIONS: A deposit fee will be refunded only if arranged prior to the birth of the litter. No deposit fees will be refunded following the birth of the pups unless of course we cannot supply you (the Buyer) with a puppy. In which case, we (the Breeder) will refund your entire deposit. Please be sure you are ready for a new addition prior to reserving a puppy with a deposit. It could save you a lot of money and save us a lot of time and effort in finding the puppy another great home.

Puppies in general are a lot like having a new baby. They need a lot of attention, love, and guidance. They can be your best friend and companion, but can also be destructive at times when they are bored or wanting attention. Puppies are very cute and irresistible, but are a decision no one should take lightly. Labradors are expected to live with a family for 12-17 years. If you are not ready to take on this much responsibility, then you may want to rethink getting a puppy.

PUPPY HEALTH AGREEMENT AND GUARANTEE
BREEDER agrees to provide new puppy owner with a puppy package which includes: AKC registration application; up-to-date Health Record, Health Guarantee and starter bag of puppy food.
O.H.H. Labrador puppies receive a quick overall health check and dewclaws are removed at their first veterinarian visit; they are administered a routine (Nemex 2) worming (this does not guarantee your pup “free of parasites” so we ask that you please maintain your puppy on a suitable worming protocol as suggested by your veterinarian); first and booster vaccinations for Canine Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus are administered. We guarantee our pups to be in good health and free from these serious puppy illnesses. We guarantee a refund if the unfortunate occurrence of your puppy’s death (within one (1) year of D.O.B.) is connected to said illnesses above. You must show written proof of such illness and proof of sufficient health examinations with your licensed vet including their first vet check within the first 48 hours of ownership, up-to-date on worming and vaccinations, including Rabies.
Hip/Elbow Dysplasia: Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) feels dysplasia is seen on x-ray at two (2) years of age if it is to occur. Although there is no guarantee that your puppy will not acquire this disease, Oak Hills Hunters Labradors do hereby certify to the best of our knowledge that both Sire and Dam of this litter have, nor have displayed, any known hereditary disease or health problems. Also, their pedigrees do not show any abnormal OFA/Cerf results in their lineage. If your puppy is diagnosed of having Hip/Elbow Dysplasia (by a licensed vet) within the first year of ownership, notify us ASAP and send the x-rays to OFA for evaluation. The OFA will give you an evaluation at 6 months of age or older.
OFA confirmation of severe sign of dysplasia within one (1) year of puppies D.O.B.: We sincerely hope for the welfare of your puppy that you decide to keep him/her because he/she has bonded with you and your family. You may receive 1/5 off the purchase price of your pup. However, we (the breeder) require proof of OFA results and spay or neuter certificate of the said puppy before honoring this guarantee.
BUYER agrees to have new puppy “vet checked” within 48 hours of ownership and to ask his/her veterinarian to administer any booster vaccinations protecting him of all illnesses listed above and/or any other vaccinations that may be required in your area or Rabies vaccination if needed. Buyer agrees they will not allow environmental conditions to adversely affect the development of the hip and elbow structure. Buyer will provide regular moderate exercise. The buyer is aware if they allow the dog to engage in activities that would stress the hips before the age of 10 months the hip and elbow guarantee becomes null and void. Activities include, but limited to, exercise on hard unyielding surfaces, continuous running, repetitive jumping, jumping higher than their elbow, training in competitive dog sports, or any activity that may cause injury.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Health Guarantee is void if after your puppy has been in his/her new home for over 48 hours without a vet check as we have no control over his/her new environment (i.e. insecticides, poisonous plants, fleas, etc.). This guarantee is non-transferable and becomes null and void if the dog is sold or placed with another family.
This health guarantee does not state your pup to always be healthy, but that Oak Hills Hunters Labradors have given him/her the best possible care and a very good start to a healthy life. We are not responsible for accidents and/or neglect of your puppy resulting in vet bills and/or possible death.
If, in the opinion of your vet, your puppy is not as represented above and/or has a physical problem which makes him/her a poor health risk, you may return the puppy within two days after vet’s exam (at buyer’s expense) to Oak Hills Hunters Labradors for a full refund or full credit towards another puppy if available.
